Sadly this isn't something that is going to be fixed in DrawPlus X8. Serif Technical Support 1:18 PM (16 hours ago) When in CTA2 the 圆 swf has 2 index, one for outline and the other for center color and in x8 1 index for center color only also changes color when index is set Thanks The file Drawing1.dpa renders as: 150 bytes in DP X6 and as: 1.30 Kb in DP X8 The DP X8 SWF file will not work properly in CrazyTalk Animator 2 but the DP X6 SWF file works correctly.

Jeffįrom: lesterdodds Sent: Mon, 15:59:41 +0000 To: Technical SupportSubject: Keyframe animation I tried it with DPx5 (12.0.4.27) and it worked fine (no image) so I guess it is just DPx8 that has the issue. I think the program adds something during conversion. Try starting a standard vector file and then change it to Keyframe. I'm sure you have tried it again with a new file? What version of DPx8 are you using? Mine is 14.0.1.21 (64bit). That leads me to believe that it is probably in the file, not the shape or some other object (hidden?) is there. I replicated your object with my DPx8 and had no problem, it showed up with 2 indexes. I typically: 1) create objects in a drawing doc and copy to a keyframe doc to do a swf export or 2) create the object in a keyframe doc.

Not sure why that is but I guess you can't convert from a drawing to a keyframe and expect it to work with CTA2. Les, I tried what you said and sure enough there is an image stuck in there. Never did a "conversion" though but I'll try that when I get home later tonight. Les, I usually COPY from a drawing to a keyframe for SWF export and never had any problems. I believe this has been true for all versions on DP. Yes, I have seen that anytime you use something like Shading, Pressure, Line Style, Brush, etc. the image is rendered as a bitmap. Les, What was the problem? I opened the file in DPx8, exported to SWF, dragged and dropped it onto CTA 2 (Pipeline 圆4, V.1) and no problem. So - everytime you export a drawing/animation to flash (.swf) you need to check all the lines (also lines in shapes!) and make sure the caps are set to "rounded". But sometimes while using just basic line drawing tools, the line cap automatically changes to "flat" without you noticing it. When starting a keyframe drawing, the line cap is "rounded" by default.
